...and they blame Abacha
Abacha has certainly done terrible things. But was he alone? Why must
we keep hearing and reading about Abacha this Abacha that. He is dead, we are
alive and so are his cronies.
Sadly, all of them are blaming him for everything. Let those who worked for
him stop blaming him for their crimes. We believe that all these revelations
are distracting the Nation from the inadequacies of the present
dispensation.
Is the economic situation better now than it was when Abacha was in office.
Did we have clean water and steady supply of electricity before Abacha? Are
our schools in a better state than they were. And by the way, how dare we
blame Abacha for our present predicament, when before him there was Babangida!
