Our Economy

Kurama people occupy what is definitely the most fertile land in Northern Nigeria. We are consequently farmers of subsistent proportion. Very few Kurama people engage in farming on a commercial basis. This is because commerce is not an ambition of the Kurama people. Life for the Kurama people could be summarized as bread and water. 

With the advent of western influence, more Kurama families are sending their children to school. The Kurama people presently have the following representation in the economic sector of Nigeria.
